No Sunday Roast this week. Spent yesterday at Foyles in London, pitching my novel, Finding Jessica to an agent from Curtis Brown as part of their Discovery Day.

However, I need to do an update because I have further publications to add to those already available.

First, online. My short story, Fetch, is available at Darker Times Fiction and you can view by following the link at the foot of this post.

Also from Darker Times, but this one in print, Sweet Revenge is included in Darker Times Anthology (Vol 5). You can purchase a copy from Amazon by clicking that relevant link, too.

Finally, a short piece titled, The Man in the Sea is in Sharp as Lemons, an anthology of Poetry and Flash Fiction published by Earlyworks Press.

First off, there won’t be a Sunday Roast tomorrow and probably not next week, either. I need to take a step back and cut a few things at the minute … and the Roast is one. I shall return, though.

Secondly, I have another short story online. Sweet Revenge got an honourable mention in the Darker Times Monthly Competition for September and is available on the Darker Times Fiction website by clicking the link.

As reported earlier in the year, Shooting Ghosts, another short story of mine, got an honourable mention in the Darker Times Monthly Competition for April. It is available on the Darker Times website but now also in Darker Times Anthology: Volume 4.

I mentioned recently that I’d had two stories achieve some success in Darker Times Fiction. Both are still available to read via the Darker Times website with the links on the Published Online page, but they are now also in print.

The two stories: The Monster Who Lives in the Cellar and Trick or Treat are published in Darker Times Anthology Volume Three.

Copies can be purchased by clicking this link.

Hi … I’ve had some success with Darker Times Fiction, as previously reported so I decided to have another couple of attempts in recent months. One story got an honorable mention while the other was one of the runners-up.

Both are available to read via the Darker Times Fiction website. The links are below and on the Published Online page.

A few weeks back, I told how I’d won the Darker Times Fiction competition for October with my short story, The Original Mandlebury Ghost Hunt. That and another tale, Table Decoration, are both now available in the Darker Times Anthology – Volume One.

Darker Times Fiction run monthly competitions and you can find them here.

Darker Times Anthology – Volume One, is available to buy on Amazon in both print and Kindle edition.

I was delighted to receive an email to say I’d won the Darker Times Fiction, monthly competition for October. I entered two pieces and my story – The Original Mandlebury Ghost Hunt won first prize and the other, Table Decoration, was one of the runners-up.

Both will be in a soon to be released anthology and are available now online on the Darker Times Fiction website.

Darker Times Fiction is run by Jessica Grace Coleman, an author based in Staffordshire, England. It’s excellent. Go and check it out and enter the monthly competition, yourself.

Note … Table Decoration is of a very dark nature. Be warned.
